Medure Ponte Vedra Beach

as far as I can say, it is the fine restaurant in jacksonville. it is not a destination restaurant in the sense of a Michelin star restaurant – it does not approach this standard. but if they are in jacksonville, it seems to be at the top of the stack. I had the foie gras and the meatloaf. the foie gras was certainly not the best performance I ever had, but also the portion was simply too small. my wife had the thunfischtar and the grouper française. she was very satisfied with both, and I observed that the thunfischtar was a perfectly acceptable part.

We went on a week night and were seated in a side room next to a table of six who were loudly celebrating a birthday. The noise in the room was so loud that we had trouble hearing each other. Our waiter was a French man who seemed distracted and unable to spend time with us. He did however, spend lots of time with the birthday crowd. When he finally took our order, I asked for the pork chop medium well and she ordered the flounder. My chop came out over cooked and dry while the flounder was ok. For the price we paid, I was very disappointed.

seven of us enjoyed a farewell meeting in the bar of this upscale restaurant after a one-year break on our side due to the pandemic. it was great to be back. However, the noise level was almost painful due to the large amount. andrea made a good work with service and addressed concerns about the nature of foie gras (yes is from local non-forced-fed escapes.) we have shared apps - all beautifully made and generous in portion size. recommend sampling of them including escargot and cheese plates. weinliste superb; plentiful selection!.

if I could give this place 100, I would! went for a birthday dinner and was blown away. absolutely amazing eating with a beautiful presentation associated with some of the best waiting staff I ever had, along with wonderful cocktails, wine selection and dessert specialties. left feeling extremely satisfied, but excited to enjoy more of the coolest creations! every dollar worth for the fantastic experience!

Excellent staff. Drinks were made well, seamless service, fantastic food—specifically the foie gras, salmon in a creamy curry, and meatloaf dish. Definitely planning a second visit.
