This is a nice little restaurant on the main street in Cuxhaven. It is near the beach, but not on the beach. The clientele seemed to know the staff as if they were locals. The server speaks English well, but the menu is only in German. This is part of fun, isn't it? Try to find out what you order if you really don't have a clue? The menu is a book, but in the exam it is relatively easy: salads, soups, meat, fish and desserts. On the North Sea it seemed logical to stay. The Seelachsfilet (Pollack) was a large, boneless fillet, which was groomed with lardons from bacon, tiny shrimps and mushrooms over potatoes.
