Meet the Meat - Reserva de mesa

The food was fantastic, although the appetizers were hit or miss. The grilled calamari was great. The mussels were good too. Unfortunately, the oysters had very sharp shell shards hiding in them that are easy to miss until you accidentally slurp one up and chew it or cut up your mouth. Thank god nobody swallowed one. Beware. The drinks were good too, and the steak was outstanding. We got the porterhouse for 2 and the filet mignon was perfection. The service was okay. Restaurant was fairly empty when we were seated and then ramped up as the dinner rush started coming in so I can understand if the servers got busier and less attentive. our waiter was great, very attentive. Overall I expected more of the food, but was disappointed. I don't think we'll try again. everything was missing from taste. we ordered the speck that was dry, and so it was hard to cut and even chew it lacked any kind of taste. the crabcakes and keilsalat were delicious. although it is not used as a wedge only sloppy in a bowl with a tonne bleu cheese. I ordered the steak medaillons, they were crushed in sauce and without taste. it was a very chewing to eat, I had left one and the rest. my man ordered the sirloin and it was good. nothing to rave. we have jumped over dessert.

we were great with smiles and made to feel very welcome. my family of 5 all had different elements from the MEATY menu. we were all very satisfied with our decisions. I ordered the rib on the bone and it was amazing. it was not necessary that all the tellers at the end of our meal were quite empty.

We had filet mignon and strip steak and they were all delicious. We ate from the restaurant week menue and the service was impecable and we enjoyed our meal.
