Do not miss out on this restaurant!! They are open until 12AM, a rarity in this area. As a lover of authentic Chinese cuisine, I am always searching for that classic taste. This restaurant never disappoints, from their Chicken Wings to Egg Foo Young and even simple dishes like Shrimp with Broccoli. I often order randomly just to test them, and they always deliver. Coming from Newark, where great restaurants are abundant, I struggled to find a comparable spot until I found this gem. Give them a try! They may not serve Spare Rib Tips, but who cares when the food is this good. It took me a few visits to write this honest review. Enjoy!
I ordered food the other night through grubhub delivery. The egg rolls were okay, but the rest was terrible and I had to throw it away. I spent $45 and the General Tso's Chicken with fried rice was inedible. The chicken had no sauce and both the rice and chicken had a strange and unpleasant smell and taste. It left a lingering odor in my mouth that required three swigs of Listerine. I had to use glade spray, air freshener, and cologne to get rid of the smell in my apartment. Even then, the odor lingered. My friend had a similar experience with her seafood soup.
Being a native New Yorker we love our Pizza, Bagels and Chinese Food. Well we have tried all of the places in the area and think Mei Haus is the best of all. They deliver which is great and fast too. The food is great and they even send us extra fortune cookies for our yellow lab, Dakota! Question is who gets the fortune when we open Dakota's cookie? LOL.
I ordered a lunch special yesterday along with some other items. Unfortunately, the owner deceived me by not including the soda or soup that were supposed to come with the lunch special. I only realized this a few hours later when I opened the bags. Be cautious with this place; they seem more focused on making money than providing quality service.

Been ordering here a few times online through Beyond Menu. Food is always good, fast and friendly service. Orders never had any errors on it and always giving me the right items. If you pick up your order, you get two free cans of soda. Good to have a go-to Chinese food take out close to home!
I ordered two meals from this restaurant for my boyfriend and me. He got General Tso's chicken and I got chicken and broccoli. Unfortunately, I have been up since 5 am with food poisoning. I will never spend $50 there again.
They screwed up my order every time. Food was never ready in time frame they said. Always twice as long as they said except for the last time I went and they forgot to put in my order at all. I'm done with them
The family that owns the restaurant is very nice. The food and service is excellent and I would definitely go back here again (if I can).

The general Tso chicken was amazing, however the fried rice had a burnt taste to it. Beware of $10 min of cards.
Great tasting food.Reasonably priced. For take out during this period.
