We would have liked to eat there on Sundays at 13:00, but my slipper in Schleiz made sure that I didn't get a drink here, which was a typical Franconian dish from the pork school, which was unfortunately already the day. We've been to Meinl's Bas several times, every time to eat well. Here you are kindly served and once the shop is as good as full, the nice and competent team tries to realize two or three places. This is service. The food was extremely rich, so even I had to fight with it as a good eater. The taste is excellent and the whole thing is more than one can expect for his money. We were always very satisfied, both with service, cleanliness and the food itself. In addition, the favourable prices which, as seen in relation, are really not too much.
All good things are 3 it says, but also a third visit to the Meinels-Bas could not convince me. The offer for vegetarians leaves to be desired, the salads taste grayish, during breakfast you have to constantly reorder paintings, the coffee is too thin, the coffee cup had coffee edges and even, the beer garden could also use a gardener. Conclusion: the Meinels-Bas never sees me again!
Went with the family on a Tuesday evening as we spent the night i Hof and the receptionist recommended it as typical German. That's probably true - and the place had a lot of local guests. especially in summer an absolutely recommendable location when you have pleasure on a beer garden, cool drinks, spicy eating and a cheerful afternoon/night with friends or family.the dishes are tasty and are satisfied,and this at a reasonable price.the services are friendly and also at a much different level not overwhelmed.
Meinels Bas is THE place to eat in Hof ! The food is typical German, there is a big garten where you can enjoy drinking beer and eat in sommer :) ! The waitress and chefs are very friendly and easy going ! The beer is very good ! I RECOMMAND THIS PLACE ! I have some many good memories over here :) !
Who wants to drink a cozy beer is right here. The host gives out the good Meinl beer, which the farmer often prefers to the scissor. The food is absolutely recommended and the store has a super price ratio. In summer you can sit wonderfully in your own beer garden and enjoy delicious from the grill.
