Love my green bean pea and vermicelli dumplings and it was really relaxing but the only thing I’d suggest is not using plastic packaging for the sauce especially when you eat in person! I pay extra to eat in person to help reduce plastic from takeout. Thank you and I’ll be back to try the other 3 veg dumpling options soon : : Edit : I returned and tried the veggie egg and spinach dumplings and they were amazing and the waitress let me make a bowl of sauce myself so I didn’t have to take the plastic ones. I have been dining at this restaurant since it first opened. I always order the same dishes: shrimp tempura with katsu sauce, shrimp wonton soup, and pickled cucumbers. However, on my recent visit, they gave me plum sauce instead of katsu sauce. When I called to complain, the person on the phone insisted that they do not serve it with katsu sauce, despite it being clearly stated on the menu (and my years of dining experience there). The individual even had the nerve to hang up on me. I will never patronize this establishment again. It is disappointing to see customers treated in such a disrespectful manner.
We had a great experience at this restaurant. The kids really enjoyed the chicken and rice dish, as well as the vegetable dumplings. Four of us were able to enjoy two dishes along with spring rolls for less than $40, and we even had leftovers. This has become our favorite place to eat so far. The chicken and salad were both delicious. The restaurant may not look new, but the food is definitely worth it. The place is air conditioned and overall very clean. They also have great vegetarian options, specifically the fried vegetable dumplings. The kids also loved the crispy chicken and rice dish.
I’ve been coming here since they opened. I love thé food. It’s awesome. Super great taste. Lamb coriander is amazing. I’m writing a mediocre review here for one important reason. Over the past few years the place has become more and more dirty. Every time I walk into it you can tell right away that cleanliness is not a priority. The floors do not get washed regularly. I have attached photos for you to see. Please please improve the basic cleanliness of the restaurant cause I love the food. But I do worry how clean the parts of the kitchen I do not see are.

Great food! Great service! Very friendly staff! Our dumplings were absolutely delicious! Steamed to perfection! The price was great also 15 for $12.99. I highly recommend this restaurant. Yes the floors could use a mop but it seamed very clean otherwise yes the kitchen looked very clean. Will be back!Vegetarian options: There is quite a few vegetarian options
While the restaurant’s atmosphere and look might be a little misleading, the food and value are great. Food comes very fast and the dumplings are really amazing. It costed CAD $12 for 15 pieces of dumplings. I would highly recommend for those looking for a affordable and delicious meal.
I live near this excellent restaurant , though at times the 15 minutes wait for the food goes over , it is definitely worth the wait. The shrimp dumplings steamed are a favorite for me as well as the bubble tea ! Very professional and just a great experience every time , Keep it up !
MeiWei is great for takeout, or waiting there, it was very reasonably priced, and the steaming dumplings came out in around 15 minutes. They also had a large selection of boba tea. The dumplings were an easy five out of five, Highly Recommend!

Absolutely amazing. This restaurant serves authentic homemade Chinese food that is almost better than my grandma's cooking. We were already aware of how delicious the dumplings were, but the hot and sour soup is a must-try as well.
