My partner and I visited Mejico on a busy Friday lunch service and had a lovely meal. We ordered a few different dishes to try; -guac with plantain chips (amazing but a bit on the pricey side at $15)-king fish ceviche (good, not sure about the orange tostadas though)-jalapeño popers (crisp, salty, spicy, amazing)-brisket tacos x 2 servings (delicious)-chorizo tacos (very good)Service was great, fast and friendly and we left feeling happy and full!Yes, you pay a bit more than you would at some other places, but I haven't come across Mexican of this quality in Sydney before.

Wow what a bad experience. We made a booking for 8pm. Arrived to find no greeter. Patiently waiting as a bunch of other punters shove past us, only to be greeted and shown their table. A bit of organisation at the front door would be a good start. Sadly lacking. Then the food. The Jalapeno Poppers were good. Yay for deep fried food. Everything else was ordinary. The Cauliflower way to much chilli to enjoy at all, and under cooked. Finally very expensive for what you get. With a couple of rounds of drinks. A bad night for $90/head. Won't be going back.
One thing I can tell you, this is sort of a fast food version of a mexican restaurant - in that the food is very fast, and the drinks take forever. I've been there twice now and both times I received, and was done eating, my first order of food before I got my first margarita. Seriously??? So, don't order food until you get your drinks. Then, only order what you want to eat for that first round, order your second drink separately, then order your food. All in all it isn't terrible - but it isn't as good as their prices would imply.
Sat a the bar and selected five dishes and a bottle of Spanish Tempranillo-Shiraz.5 out of 5 for 4 of the dishes. Great gaucamole, fabulous beetroot tostadas with avocado/feta etc, yummy honey brisket taco, deliciously different bone marrow salsa and nice wine to accompany. The squid ink octopus and chorizo was the only average dish.Front of house service was super efficient and wait staff including management were very friendly and helpful even under the pressures of a very busy time. We'll be back for sure! Had a lovely meal here with a girlfriend. The servers were great and the food was really yummy, but pretty overpriced for the portion sizes. I would go back again though it was delicious and the white sangria was to die for, as well as the guacamole and plantain. Not sure about the making the guac at the table though all seems a bit messy and un necessary.
Me and a friend visited Mejico for dinner. Place tends to be really busy, so be prepared to be patient.. The appetizers and main course were good. Well stocked bar as well! The highlight was the margarita cheesecake. Bit overpriced, but worth it, IMO.
went here with some work colleagues, we were a group of 7 people and had some tacos, chips and guacomole. prices were a little expensive, it's worth goign once to experience the place and even better if work is paying for it but i wouldn't go back
Took the kids to try some authentic mexican food - No burritos here! Making qaucamole at the table was good entertainment.Service is attentive and friendly and the food is different and delicious.Dont forget to sample the tequila menu. Reserva una mesa ahora
We (group of 9) dined here last night, Sat 22 July. The food is amazing and the service was excellent. The flavours will send your senses into overdrive. The staff were very attentive and friendly. Do yourself a flavour!
