Unfortunately, the restaurant had experienced some difficulty so less than half the menu you was available. Problems extended to payment so card machines were not available and only venmo and Apple pay could be used. More troublesome was the cleanliness of the restaurant. With all that said, I would probably be willing to try it again once their problems were ironed out. On the brighter side, the two people working were affable and as helpful as they could be under the circumstances. They were also very apologetic about the difficulties.
Quite literally grew up going here, it's honestly a pain to go to other places after growing up on Mekong, makes other places seem never quite as fulfilling. Prices and portions are perfect. There's even stray cats at the very back of the lot, which is always fun to see.
If this place goes under it is Greenville 's fault and loss. They don 't have a great location or physical spot, but the food is authentic (and few people understand how neat that itself is) and delicious. A rare gem hidden amongst a constant tide of similar Why Bother.
