Melrose's - Reservar una mesa

Wish I had read the review before booking the Christmas dinner. We had exactly the same experience on Christmas Day, two days ago. Rubbish food, don't know what it he soup was meant to be but it resembled cold sludge. One woman sent hers back...twice because it was cold, as was mine. No bread with the pate, hard sprouts, frozen carrots, a Yorkshire' that was more the consistency of an omelette, Turkey' well! No roasts, no stuffing, lumpy mash, a tiny mince pie with hard as rock pastry and hunt the mince. We asked for a litre of house white which was on the menu at €14.90, we got a 70cl bottle for the same price, we didn't ask for water but they brought us a bottle which we sent back. Then they came with a litre jug of tap water with ice which we thought was complimentary, more fool us, we were charged €3.50 for that. All in all stay clear of this rip off at €30 each, not even worth €3. They should be ashamed.

Llegamos a las 8:30 a.m. en la noche de plata en santa bárbara y no queríamos ir a comer, así que decidimos permanecer en el hotel y comer en meloro, estamos tan satisfechos que lo hicimos. Decidimos celebrar el final... de 2020 con la cena de chateaubriand para 2 y fue fabuloso, servido por el delicioso alioli cremoso con el pan de ajo crujiente en la mezcla en filete bucal y salsas acompañantes. la casa de botella roja, que incluía en el precio de eur 46 era muy pálida. todos sirvieron a un sabio muy profesional pero amable. nos encantó y pensamos muy buen valor por el dinero. no estábamos seguros de si estábamos repitiendo la experiencia con cuánta frecuencia la segunda vez para ser decepcionados, pero regresamos esta semana y tuvimos de nuevo el mismo trato de champaña que encontramos comer de nuevo increíble y el servicio perfecto para nosotros no demasiado fusible, pero atento. altamente recomendado.

Same as a previous reviewer ....we had the chateaubriand offer at 46 euros for 2 people which included garlic bread and a bottle of Merlot Tempranillo red wine. The garlic bread and creamy garlic dip were fantastic and the steak definitely melts in your mouth....The steak is served with fries, Canarian potatoes with mojo sauce and mediterranean veggies. Service was excellent, very posh but not overpriced highly recommended! A lovely evening.

Had a family meal here. Food was great , place was very clean and toilets spotless . Staff friendly would recommend.
