Seriously got handed this sorry sack of turd and told it’s a large bag of chips. After having to request my change (thief’s aswell) then I got handed a flickering of chips on a wee tray. Absolutly shocking. Then the customer service on the fone wasent much to be desired. I was asked to take the chips back to the chippy so they could measure them hahaha have you ever heard the like of it in your life??? Something needs done about this place. The whole community is getting robbed and they’re all oblivious to it
Nice food bad service at weekend too many young staff not nice manners when they get the order wrong and then try to say they didn’t why would they ask you to bring back the whole order to they check it out after you haddriven to get it and driven back to show them and after you had got it home and on the plates unreal won’t be back again . Mel get back behind the counter before they ruin your good shop
Absolutely vile. For a shop that literally does cod and chips and no other fish/ sausages at all you’d expect it to at least be good. But youd be wrong. We stayed in an air b n b and the host said this was the most local one. Most wasted £39 we have ever spent. None of us could finish it. Seriously need to do better
There is a certain member of staff in Mels that is extremely rude especially when it is their mistake when they don't fulfil full order that has been made then expect you to pay twice you know who you are. Please management send this girl on an intensive customer care course.

Me and 2 of my friends went to this chippy on 06/7/2019. We got chicken burgers. In my opinion the date needs checked on the chicken that was used. All 3 of us ended up at the toilet before bed boking up the whole chippy we ate. I would give this 1/10 if I could Disgusting
Fantastic service from all members of staff especially a young girl called shannon who was extremely helpful and had great service and would highly recommend this place to anyone travelled pretty far for this, did not disappoint definitely be back visited on the 13/4/19
It was very nice food, and very cheap, i cant wait to come back here and order things again, i love the chips
Called in on way home from a long trip. Food was excellent. Well worth a visit. I will be back soon.
