absolutely good food and also great service. we were recommended to use the special chip buttie with milder and hotter sauce and the wj special jacket kartoffel. both of them tasted nicely and I can't expect to go back to the hot potato shop. great work the owners and they were great and recommend the best sellers and hear what we like / don't like to see soon:

A staple of Leicester! The food is unbelievably good here! The new owners have elevated it to a different level. The portions are fantastic and the taste is amazing! The new seitan donor wrap is one of the best things I've ever tasted period! Do yourself a favour and go try it and everything else! From the potatoes to chips! You won't be disappointed.

Eating was fantastic, I'm going to make hot potato a stem. the staff was very friendly and friendly treated the order and eating efficiently. I had the soyburger and special chips, tasted amazing, freshly cooked to order and generously cut.

Been coming here since I was a kid and still do as an adult and always will. New owners and management but same flavour, its deffo an upgrade...you'll see go check it! Best chip butty in Leicester hands down!
