Memo's Coffee Shop

Loved the food, and the portions were quite friendly to this Southern boy (we 're used to large helpings, and Memo 's didn 't disappoint). The service was great, with friendly staff who weren 't afraid to chat a bit while still making sure they worked hard to get things done. My order came out promptly and well prepared, and it was delicious. The environment was friendly overall, too, with a chatty atmosphere. It can get a bit noisy (popular place that it is), and you may have to watch your step if you 're walking through any choke points during a busy time, but that 's a minor gripe that doesn 't always apply. Came at 0930 on a Sunday and there was aboit a 30min wait. Since we were a party of 2, we were offered a high-top within 5 mins and were able to skip the line. Service was fast and the food was hot. Our server made a mistake and gave me plain silver dollar pancakes instead of chocolate chip, but quickly had the kitchen remake then correctly and let me keep the mistake-cakes. Everything was reasonably priced and tasted good.
