Memsaab - Reserva de mesa

This is a superb little find, a short walk away from the busy (and rather variable) Upper Street strip. Set in a mostly residential Barnsbury area, the restaurant decor is classy and the service is top notch as a good fine dining establishment rather than your local curry house. My dishes were tasty, plentiful and good value with some nice little touches and attention to detail. I took advantage of an early week special menu which made it even better value. I'm surprised this gem isn't more popular; I'm a fan and I will be back.

my friend and I were the only two people in the restaurant. no good sign. it was very quiet in the inner so that no atmosphere it easy awkward. the waiter was very rude and asked my friend and I (two girls) our old (we did not drink) and where we lived not feel too comfortable the lamb dish was muddy and the chicken silk was tasteless and the chicken was dry! also small portions we had to eat as soon as we left the restaurant. had never had a bad saag until the night will not come back. kneader and bad eating.

great eating, but stroppy waiter, who could not be harassed to do his job we went to valentine when we were in the opposite, but the waiter ruined the atmosphere after so many mistakes at the end of me and my man had to laugh well, eating was nice. I understand that waiters make a hard job and I give them credit, but he was terrible and rude, the man apologising he was tired if it were my restaurant he got his p45 and skillful packaging. I will come back because the eating was good hopefully he won't on

It's difficult to find an Indian that doesn't just think it can fob British people off with a spicy tomato sauce and call it a tikka masala. Memsaab is a great find. The food here is excellent even down to the chutneys for popadoms. Have since ordered takeaway from here, and am confident that I will stick with them as our Indian restaurant in Islington. Definitely eat here. It isn't as cheap as other Indian restaurants, but you do get what you pay for. Reserva una mesa ahora

Really great find for us. The food was delicious and Hussain, our waiter, was very attentive and helpful in his recommendations and the timing of the food. My daughter is a vegetarian and found lots of choices. Will definitely come back.

the food was good, although that was too dry. the Danshak sauce was much spicier than put on others. otherwise it was ok, even if the dining room deserves a little more decoration.

always meets the place and great value for money. the ties are well diceed, even if they do not order sharp - avoid the garlic naan, as it is a little sweet
