Memsahib Gin And Tea

We came here at the beginning of October and ordered the Experience menu with drinks. We were pleased we had! The menu was very well thought out and tasty with bursts of flavour. I particularly liked if I remember correctly the Railway curry which came with two different kinds of flatbreads and rice. The drinks were also delicious albeit because the first drinks were spirit based I felt a bit tipsy by the main course! But it was all very well done and I particularly liked the chai masala martini at the end. The restaurant was very busy but service was excellent throughout, and there were a couple of check ins during our dinner to see if we were enjoying the meal. If I was in Cheltenham again I’d probably return here, and I’d certainly recommend.

Arrived somewhat flustered on a Friday evening as we were late due to an overrunning work meeting. We were instantly greeted warmly and seated for a drink in the lounge (fabulous). We were made to feel welcome, relaxed and there was not a hint of annoyance at our late arrival. So lovely…. We had the tasting menu and what a fabulous experience it was. Every course was beautifully presented and exquisite. Favourite courses were the soup, scallop and lamb curry but in reality all the courses were fabulous. Our evening was wonderful, this is a really fabulous place, the decor is beautiful, the tables aren’t too close together and the service is friendly and welcoming. Brilliant evening we will return.

we went for afternoon tea yesterday the whole experience was incredible the decor is very grand (even in the toilets) the staff and service was outstanding we were made to feel like royalty the staff are amazing The afternoon tea was lovely the food was delicious the taste of all the different flavours and spices was out of this world The staff were very attentive there was no rush it was very relaxing we enjoyed everything and will definitely go back I would highly recommend this restaurant

Authentic, incredible food. Every course was intricately layered and delicious. Cannot recommend this place highly enough. 10/10. Will definitely be back.

Just the most amazing taster menu last night..highly recommend! The ambience ..the service was fantastic too. Not to be missed!
