I was looking for somewhere to meet up with friends for afternoon tea, everywhere was book full or book a week in advance but managed to find this place. Wasn't sure, being a gin bar but if you like an afternoon tea with a savoury twist, maybe even a colonial twist on the quit-essential English afternoon tea, then you must try this gem in the crown. Loved the deco and ambience, the staff were very friendly and attentive, making the whole experience a pleasure and delight. The platter itself was more savoury than sweet, the tea selection was exquisite and was served as would be expected. We also tried an infused gin tea, which added that extra twist to an afternoon tea. Highly recommend this...
after a fantastic evening in the last year wonderful service excellent dining and inspiring gin drinks that were an art work. because of the restrictions of covid19 I bought a filler gin hamper to my wife. they opened it today after more disappointments with christmas close. omg that is not a filler, that is a fantastic gift! the care that has gone into the compilation must applaud. every last thought was added to make this a wonderful basket of joy and joy - well made youngs brilliant work! thank you.
great place! definitely try. So we went to try gin and eat pairing. it was amazing. the food was from this world and the gin was amazing. I just don't drink gin and now I love gin! the 2nd drink was a gurken gin combo and it was amazing. all the courses were amazing. the service of ruth was brilliant and she was so knowledgeable about the gins and the history of everything. the chef also came out to chat with us what was nice. If they're in town, that's one thing.
we had a great evening. we had the meat tasting menu with drinks and had a lot of fun. the food was delicious, the drinks supplemented the eating well, and the service was excellent. we especially loved the relaxed ambiente and eat our meal in sesseln. we're coming back. after the last months it was wonderful to have a funny evening where everything went so well.

What a fabulous evening! The whole experience was so lovely... food and drinks were incredible the staff were attentive but not overbearing. Gluten free tasting menu was brilliant, didn 't feel as though I was missing out from the 'normal ' menu at all. The rose kufi was heaven!! Thank you xx
We went to have the tasting menu and thourgherly enjoyed it. I had my reservations regarding the portion sizes but the total amount of food was excellent, very good value for money. Would recommend both drinks and food.

beautiful service, beautiful interieur and tasty eating on the Christmas flavor menu. gin was presented fantastic and my man enjoyed the tees. will be back to the rehearsal of the afternoon tee asap!
