Perched on top of a mountain in the heart of Bizkaia, clients include by kings and presidents, as security is easy, the helipad gives a clue to the type of clients you may rub shoulders with. The food is unsurpassed Basque cuisine, which is expensive but at the same time surprisingly good value. You really can't go wrong, what ever you chose. The wine list is exceptional. The dining room itself is a converted barn, the entire complex is a classic Basque farm house. It is reputed to be haunted by the witch of Amboto. This is an absolute must visit for anyone who really wants to enjoy the best the Basque Country has to offer. A helicopter is not required, even if you arrive on foot, you will be treated like royalty, if for no other reason than the road to restaurant is so steep you will literally have to crawl up. Nunca pude quedarme aquí, pero intenté reservar un par de habitaciones para julio de 2014 y lo hice con 6 meses de anticipación, solo para que me dijeran que no aceptan reservas hasta más cerca de la fecha. Cuando lo hice, más cerca de la fecha, recibí un correo electrónico contundente diciendo que están cerrados durante el mes. ¡Podrían haberme dicho eso 6 meses antes! ¡Claramente no son muy eficientes aquí!
Encantador lugar en Vizcaya para recargar energías...Un trato personal ideal, Cristina la camarera es un encanto, Carlos el cocinero impresionante y los jefes encantadores tanto Jon como Sole...Ideal para hacer brunch, dormir, comer, cenar o tomar un buen gin tonic. Muchas gracias por todo y sigan así. Los precios son muy razonables.
¡Excelente! Recientemente tuvimos una celebración familiar y fue de diez. El lugar es increíble, con vistas muy bonitas y acogedor. El comedor es íntimo y precioso, la comida es espectacular. Hay una cantidad y variedad enorme, todos salimos muy contentos y con un recuerdo inolvidable. Seguro que volveremos.
