Mercantile Dining And Provision

My wife and I are blessed to live in Scottsdale, AZ where we have a n incredible assortment of top quality restaurants. However, being the record setting heatwave, we decided to get out of town. We have enjoyed the dining scene in Denver with an incredible suggestion from our oldest son to dine The Mercantile! The service was spot on with Arlene and crew to assist. The manager, Bill introduced himself and the evening was incredible. My wife throughly enjoyed the lamb, while I had the pork chop. We shared some carrots, mushrooms and pasta as starters and were quite full. The wine list is moderately priced. We WILL be back!

If this restaurant reflects the dining options in downtown Denver, I’m all in! I visited just before closing on a Wednesday evening, and they were kind enough to welcome this weary traveler. The service was outstanding, and the food was equally impressive. The highlight for me was the sparkling water—it had a unique, crisp taste that was just perfectly bubbly. Mmm! I ordered the Bread Service, the Salt Roasted Beet Salad, and the Parisian Gnocchi, all of which were delightful. I left feeling satisfied and happy with my experience. I highly recommend this place!

Absolutely fantastic! First of all, our server was incredible! She was friendly, attentive, and provided us with great recommendations since we were visiting from out of state. Now, let's talk about the food! It was like we were transported back to Italy. The quality, creativity, flavor combinations, and execution of each dish were truly impressive! I only wish we had more time to dine here again before our departure.

I was happy to spend part of a (tedious) layover at the Mercantile. I was traveling solo and ordered two appetizers as my meal. The artichoke was fantastic (loved the capers in the sauce) and the avocado and shrimp had a smokey/zesty flavor. Such fresh farm-to-table flavors are a welcome treat in an airport restaurant. Look forward to returning in four days on my trip home.

The food and service were good, but charging a 20% surcharge on the bill to cover kitchen staff, and then expecting an additional 20% tip on top of that? No thanks. I won't be returning. Sorry.

Nice place. Fresh food. Good food. Better than most by far but not the very best I have ever had. My main course took many minutes more than my dinner guest. We rolled with it and it was good.

We ordered “prime short rib dip.” The sandwich brad is dip with oil. It doesn’t have meat and the small meat that used tastes canned food. We didn’t eat it. It was disgusting .Food: 1/5

Not worth the price. Average food at best. Ordered Duck it was rubbery. The music was so loud we couldn't talk. 3* place with 5* prices.Food: 3/5
