My husband and I thought that this restaurant looked nice with the setting on Torecilla Beach, so we decided to have lunch there. My husband ordered grilled octopus and I ordered a house salad. Both were inedible. The squid was rock hard, difficult to cut into pieces as it was so hard and was so chewy that he had to spit it out. My salad was really boring with a bit of iceberg lettuce, a few slices of avocado and some cheap horrible looking g slices of smoked salmon...also inedible. When we complained, the waiter told us that it was normal for the squid to be hard and just laughed. We have eaten squid many times before and it is never this hard, firm yes, but not hard and chewy like a piece...
Initially we were delighted to find this great restaurant right next door to the Hotel. During our week, we visited three times. The food is very good. We had a brilliant first two experiences, fast and polite service. However the third occasion (on a very windy day), well what a difference, took forever to get the attention of the staff to be served. Food came and was usual great standard. Had a little discussion on drinks order being overlooked. Wine that I ordered finally arrived and within a minute due to the strong wind was sucked off the table and glass smashed on the floor. Pedimos mucha más comida de la que necesitábamos porque el menú no especificaba que un plato venía con algunas verduras guisadas y alguna forma de patata. Pedimos el plato de gambas y el plato de pescado. También pedimos patatas bravas y una ensalada mixta. Toda la comida estaba deliciosa. La ventaja de este lugar es que si estás acostumbrado a cenar entre las 16:00 y las 19:00, este es uno de los pocos lugares en Nerja que está abierto. Went today 27th May 22, looked lovely as we staying next door in the round hotel…. Just a complete stitch up!!! I never put a bad complaint rarely on trip advisor but this place doesn’t deserve a one star! Food average… asked if we wanted bread that was 1 euro for a roll plus 1 euro for butter! Wanted to know price of sangria didn’t know… waiters are obnoxious and rude. Honestly worst place we have ever been!

Bar de snacks.. Creo que no. Es mucho más. Comida fantástica. La carne a la parrilla es tan jugosa con la combinación perfecta de acompañamientos. Entramos de paso un día y volvimos por esas costillas dos días después. Personal encantador. Especialmente Miquel Angel. Un ambiente maravilloso y relajado con comida fantástica.
We returned to Nerja and decided to give this seafood restaurant another try. I am pleased to say that after a slight blip last time, this place really has got it right. Different and more staff. Service was very good and the food is top stuff, we visited every day.

Hermoso entorno. Excelente servicio. Menú amplio, hemos probado muchas opciones diferentes. Todos de excelente calidad y valen la pena por el precio. El servicio es perfecto. Definitivamente vale la pena una visita.
Great friendly atmosphere, well presented food. Always busy which speaks volumes. Good value for money
