Meric's Woodfired Oven Tavern

Friends recommend, so we finally went. We got pizzas. Mine arrived stone cold and soggy in the middle. I asked for it to be reheated as I didn't want it wasted. They did so. It didn't help the soggy middle. My husband was happy with his pie, and if mine had been hot, I'd have really enjoyed it, I'm sure. The waitress was lovely and even knocked some money off my pie for being cold. Which I didn't expect as I ate it all once they warmed it! Great customer service! The atmosphere is so so... It's just a big open dining room, simple, not horrendous, but the atmosphere is lacking, don't need much if the foods are good, tho!! And that's ultimately why you go eat, you're hungry, and you want good...

The pizza and giant pretzel at this restaurant are excellent. The service is top-notch and the portion sizes are generous. I dined in for dinner and found the price per person to be between $10 and $20. I would give the food a rating of 5 out of 5, the service a 5 out of 5, and the atmosphere a 4 out of 5. I highly recommend trying the Giant Pretzel and the regular Pretzel dishes.

Great small town operation. Casual, clean, with a lot of apparent hustle and pride. Friendly, youthful staff. Pizza was very good. Don't expect this to be as good as Lola's in Minneapolis, but it is the best pizza in the area for many miles in any direction. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
