This was our first time to eat here and we were very impressed!! Our waiter Josiah was exceptional and very knowledgeable about the food he served. He was very attentive and only a very pleasant person to spend an hour and a half. I started with the beef tenderloin Carpaccio as an appetizer and it was fantastic. It was so delicate that it was literally melted in my mouth. It had a little salad with it along with freshly shaved Parmesan cheese. And the drizzle of balsamico vinegar just added to all taste explosions in my mouth. My wife had the Fast Caesar salad, which was also exceptional. For high-quality food, an excellent selection of international wines and value ratio, we think that Meritage is the best restaurant in Highlands .. and so do many other locals. It is supervised by an experienced professional, Andrea Schmitt, who knows how to plan reservations, hire large employees and monitor the preparation and presentation of the fantastic and constantly changing menu of their talented cook. There is a small dining room with about 8 tables and a large bar area near the entrance. The decor is incomparable and elegant and the service staff is understandable, friendly and professional. Reservations highly recommended.

Delightful! Very much enjoyed the ambiance. Plus, the food and drinks were spot on. Delicious right up there with some of the best meals from our travels. Would definitely go back.

Accommodated us our dog at last minute...excellent food...delightful server...reasonable prices...very good reasonable) wine list. Would definitely return.
