Merrick Inn - Reserva de mesa

We went to Merrick for brunch on Sunday with an 1130 am reservation. We were seated promptly and the waiter took our drink orders and later took the order for appetizers. All was served in a reasonable amount of time. We then placed our entree orders and the waiter stated that the food would be out in 10 to 15 minutes. About 45 minuets later we asked about our food. The waiter stated that the manager(s) had go to Josie’s because they ran out of eggs. He stated that all but 2 orders were made, but they were waiting on more eggs. WHAT?! Seriously?! This was a great experience. We sat outside and it is the cutest covered outdoor area! This was my 3rd visit and they’ve all been good. I told the waiter what I wanted and mentioned that it was sold out last time I was there. When the waiter brought it to me he said that they were sold out again but that the chef made it again, special for me because it was my birthday and they had been out of it the last time I went. Then they were also out of the pastries and my dish was supposed to come with the pastry of the day. So he custom made a sweet dish for me. It was delicious. Merrick Inn has been my family’s favorite place for over 40 years. We were a little apprehensive, since we had not been for dinner since the new owners took over, but we can absolutely say that the American is still a fabulous place, and in fact, the new owners have done a few upgrades, such as allowing you to reserve an outside table on the patio! Now, if they would only bring back the raspberry chicken dish! :

Our first time at this restaurant. The service was excellent as was the food. The steak my wife ordered was tender and delicious. My friend ordered the pecan crusted pork and praised the dish. I had the “Kentucky Brown” a dish that I had never heard of before. It was wonderful but large enough to share. This is “Southern cooking “ at its best. Reserva una mesa ahora

I recently dined at Merrick Inn for the first time and had a fantastic experience. The food was exceptional and the patio was gorgeous. To top it all off, our server Hunter was wonderful- attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. I highly recommend coming here for a memorable dining experience. I'll definitely be returning!

I had the tenderloin and it was over cooked…my husband had the halibut and it was just ok. Calamari is so much better with just a sauce to accompany it… tuna was to expensive for 3 strips!!’ We have been to Merrick Inn couple times before and was disappointed this time!

Great food and service. Indoor dining does get a bit loud at times but doesn’t detract from the experience. Love to dress up a bit and have a large family meal.
