excellent caffe. for about 40 years or so on this place, as good as I remember when I was young. roasted sandwiches and normal sandwiches. good tee and coffee beautiful location. with parking space. personal always pleasant and helpful. either you can eat or take away. happy enough to have a related who will take the distance from lancashire to enjoy this yorkshire joy. highly recommended. it is not unusual and has no favorable prices.

here for lunch, a big juicy hot bark and a twill sandwich. absolutely delicious. I can not recommend, however, the latte or cappuccino, we ordered large, for large, but the tassen were small, and more expensive than costa coffee or dietucks. When we were done, we both said that the coffee left a bad bitter aftertaste. would go back, but not for coffee!

Brilliant cafe. Merrie England is a very welcoming, cosy place for a catch up and good food. The staff here are very polite and the service is rapid. Merrie England are also taking all the right precautions against Covid-19 and so I would recommend it to anyone in the area.

beautiful sandwiches and cakes! beautiful atmosphere with fast service. many parking spaces and a car ride through as well as incase where they don't want to sit. the interieur is something dated, but the nice eating makes it!

Delicious food some may think bit pricey but foods bang on for quality . You have option to eat in or use drive through . There's parking for about 30 to 40 cars . They also have several shops in Huddersfield town centre
