Merriman's Big Island

I had such a wonderful meal here for my cousin's birthday! Everything was amazing. The host is very gracious and welcoming for all those who put the door to the tone. Drinks were phenomenal. I had a Merriman's Mai Tai. It was similar to the classic trader Vic recipe. And it was so good. It was added with Lilikoi foam that so much taste! The food itself was top notch. I knew it was good. But it was better than I had imagined. The quality of my NY Steak was great. The cut, the ruble, and it was perfectly cooked. I can't wait to go back!

We came here by chance a day before Christmas at 5:20 and were lucky to get a table without reservation. All others seemed to have reservations. They had only fixed price 3-course menus at a quite steep price (smth like a $100 per person), but we were not disappointed! You could choose between several options for a starter and a main course. All we had was delicious. The server was very nice and the setting was pretty good. Also Mai Tais were great.

Wow that dinner was the highlight of our trip. Book in advance it is 1000% worth it. When the side vegetables are sooo good they can be an entree by themselves (carrots or rapinis or brocoli potatoe pure) you know your in good place. We had the tuna tataki, macadamia crusted mahi and lamb (we ordered an extra entre). Everything was spot on.

Fantastic anniversary thx to kind lady (sry dunno her name). She served so kindly and made us happy with her recommendation. We enjoyed fully on our dinner and left happily. Hope to revisit if we can reserve seats on good time.

We booked this Merriman’s before our trip, this restaurant is so popular! They offered both lunch and brunch menus, food are carefully planned out. Very delicious!
