Merritt (my) Island Pancake House

My first time here and they were so wonderful and welcoming! I felt like I was a regular with how I was treated. The service was spectacular, my dog had a water bowl the same time I got my water these little details just make the world of difference. Even one of the other staff members came to apologize about the delay in our gluten free pancakes which was so nice (we understood and were not upset at all so they were just very considerate)! I live an hour up north but will definitely be coming down to have the amazing food too the cinnamon roll pancakes are hands down a plate licking dish to try! Thank you guys!

We were having a truly wonderful vacation. Spotted a review on this place that made us laugh, so we decided to go. One of the best decisions we made on our vacation! The service was amazing and the food was better. The pancakes are huge with a really great variety of toppings. The chicken and waffles was the most amazing thing we got though. We loved it so much that the following day, that awful day of heading home from a vacation, we went a bit out of our way to go here again, and everything was as great as the first day.

Nice, clean place with very friendly and attentive staff. Husband and I both ordered the breakfast that includes pancakes, eggs, bacon and hash browns. The eggs, bacon and hash browns were all fine but the pancakes were so insanely thick that it was almost gross. Each one was at least 2 inches thick. I was literally served an entire double layered cake. They should add some type of warning on the menu haha. I would not have ordered pancakes had I known the enormity of them.

Ashely was our server and we were treated like royalty. The food was decedent and we have leftovers for tomorrow.
