A friend suggested this as a good meeting place for dinner. I was initially somewhat doubtful due to its location on Jefferson Boulevard near the Bishop Arts District. Once inside the restaurant, I was truly surprised by its simple but tasteful decor and the terrific menu. I had the salmon and it was outstanding. I believe that it was truly the work of a chef. Service was very good. I would make trek back to Oak Cliff for a repeat experience. After my recommendation, a friend who lives in the area went to Mesa and had an equally enjoyable time. Understandably, it is not for those on a strict budget unless they want to treat themselves to something unique and special.
The food was incredible. I ordered the salmon with crab, and it was definitely worth the price. The Jamaica Paloma with tequila was also quite good. However, the service left much to be desired. Our server rarely checked on us, no one brought us refills for our chips even after we asked, and our drinks were incorrect or empty several times. The only reason I’m giving this a three to four-star rating is because the food was fantastic.
The food was fantastic! However, the service left something to be desired. I requested tortillas twice, but they only arrived at the end of my meal, despite the restaurant not being busy. To be fair, it appeared there was only one server on the floor.
Made reservations thru OpenTable. Wanted a table at 5 pm, app said earliest table was at 6:45. Arrived early and we were the only ones in the restaurant. The food was great, but next time I'll call the restaurant directly.

New flare on traditional Mexican dishes. The food was well developed, vibrant to taste and pleasing to the eye. My plate looked more like art rather than a regular dish. Exceptional customer service and great ambiance.
Brought an associate from Sydney Australia here who had never had Mexican food before. He stated that he would fly the 17 hours again just to have the Molè.
Food was fantastic as usual, Mole Catta and Cochinita Pibil were excellent. Wish the mole catta was a regular in the menu. Our waiter Jeremy was fantastic.
The back room was quite warm, and although the fans were running, they weren't providing enough airflow. However, the front room appeared to be cooler.

We celebrated Father’s Day at Mesa! We had a wonderful time and the food was wonderful! We will be back- again and again!
The mole is super! My friend ordered a martini that was wrong twice.
