Mesa Coyoacán - Reserva de mesa

If you're disappointed with NYC Mexican food, don't continue sleeping on Mesa Coyocan. It's gotta be the best Mexican food in this city. I grew up a lot closer to Mexico than most New Yorkers did, and the Mexican food in this city is endlessly (and surprisingly! disappointing. People told me I wouldn't be able to get good Mexican food in NYC but I flat-out didn't believe them until I moved here. MESA COYOCAN IS BUILT DIFFERENT! Cocktails always top-notch, I've never gotten anything less than good service, and the food is fantastic.

I’m a Californian so I love Mexican food almost as much as life itself. In all my days including 16 years of living in NYC, I’ve never had a better taco than Mesa Coyoacan. I talk about it all the time. I bring friends and family here when they come to visit. This place deserves 5 stars. HOWEVER—they recently took their hands-down best taco the cochinita pibil OFF THE MENU. Until it comes back, looks like I’ll need to find another spot.

I was born and raised in Mexico City and have been fortunate to travel around the world. I have NEVER gone to a Mexican restaurant and tasted home until I ate here for a New Years trip. If you love Mexican food come here, if you’re mexican come here, if you hate mexican food come and change your mind. This place is fantastic and someone should give it a Michelin star.

Food and drinks absolutely delicious. Ezis and Luis were phenomenal and had outstanding service. I had the enchiladas with seafood it was top tier. The churros DELICIOUS. I also tried the tamarind and guava margarita . Reserva una mesa ahora

New fav alert! Came here for delicious lunch before a concert at Brooklyn Steel and had a spectacular lunch with drinks. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. It?s far but we said we?d def be back.

Had the nopale appetizer pollo quesadilla to share for 2. Both were really good. Inside is a nice ambiance there are covered tables outside as an option. Sat at bar service was friendly efficient

Love this place, food is always good, fast and delicious. The staff was so nice and accommodating. My party was running late and they let me chill at the table until they all came.
