I visited this restaurant for takeout on a bustling Saturday night and despite the crowd, the staff remained friendly. The prices are reasonable and the food is delicious. The vegetarian sampler dish is enough for two people and it's very flavorful. Although the kitchen seemed a bit slow, all customers eventually received their meals. I suggest this place for a dine-in experience, but be prepared to wait if it's busy. The vegetarian options are limited to sambusas and the veggie sampler, but both are filling choices.
Meseret has delicious Ethiopian cuisine, and the prices are more than reasonable for the quantity and quality. Their veggie sampler platter is more than enough for two people, with eight different dishes plus a stuffed jalapeño served on their wonderful injera. The chicken tibs also is plentiful and delicious. The owner made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Highly recommend!!
Loved our experience at Meseret. First time eating Ethiopian food and it did not disappoint. Be prepared for an authentic experience. This was our first time eating with injera/teff. Family run establishment-staff were so kind and welcoming. Server gave us some suggestions on what to try which was helpful. Thank you to the staff who took care of us last night, we will be returning!
Visiting Minneapolis and randomly felt like eating Ethiopian food. Came across this place and saw they had Dulet, which is my favorite dish and uncommon to find. Dulet was delicious as was the injera. Portion size is very filling for one person. Highly recommend!

This place is a gem. Amazing food. And the option for gluten-free injera is very appreciated for those with allergies. I can’t think of a bad thing to say about this place. Can’t wait to come back!
The restaurant offers a unique cuisine that may not be for everyone. The staff is friendly and the portions are good, but the pricing may not be worth it. Give it a try and decide for yourself!

It took a while to be served but worth to wait. Amazingly delicious dish we ate.
