We have eaten here before but l afraid today will be our last. The starter are normally great but choice today was poor and settled for croquets which is what we got croquets with some attempt at a sauce rubbed into the plate. Main course was ray fish ,a little potato and tomato which was tasteless, the next table left it too. The worse however was the crema catalana, my favorite but not today. I should have complained but so shocked that they even served it. It was clear hard sugar (fine) but underneath was a white, yes white foam which was warm. How they made the foam l just do not know. All in all very disappointed
We had lunch at this lovely traditional restaurant and had a lovely time. We sat on the terrace, with a parasol. The waitresses were lovely and welcoming. We had the fixed menu. 16 euros for effectively 4 courses and either water or wine! The choice was really good. Olives, bread and dips to start. Then gazpacho, spaghetti, tapas for the next course. Main course included veal steak, garlic chicken, salmon etc Then puddings, choc mousse, crepe brûlée etc Fantastic experience
We normally visit Can Paco 2 or 3 times per year although have not been for a few months recently. It appears to have changed somewhat and not for the better. They still appeared to offer a daily menu but the choices were limited and our selections were all a little disappointing considering what it used to be like. The price had increased and we left quite a proportion of our food either because it was too salty or just unappetising.
Esto fue organizado por nuestro propietario de la sede de la boda mientras estamos aquí de vacaciones. La comida era insaciable y tan deliciosa, no podíamos culpar nada. Las vistas al restaurante eran absolutamente preciosas y el personal era tan amable y servicial. Definitivamente volveríamos de nuevo y lo recomendaríamos a la familia y amigos.
