Fueron los pioneros en cortar el jamón en lonchas, sí sí lo que ahora es lo más normal del mundo. El local es enorme, tiene varios comedores y una barra para poder tapear, por si prefieres algo mas informal. También tienen una terraza muy agradable, la tienen abierta todo el año, en invierno ponen unos calefactores infrarrojos (pensando en el medio ambiente) La carta es muy amplia, podrás degustar todo tipo de platos. También tienen tapas especiales para grupos grandes, donde te ponen una bandeja con varios platos.

What a great find on our first night in Madrid! My husband and I didn’t have a reservation (seems recommended) but we were seated after just a short wait. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and accommodating for English speaking guests. Jose was our server, and he was amazing! We took all of his menu recommendations and have no regrets. It was also neat sitting near the carving station. From the vino to Iberian ham tomatoes to the pork and cod entrees, we absolutely loved our experience!

Made a reservation for outside seating. This place gets really busy, so reservation is recommended. Our server, Yonathan, was very thoughtful! We had really good jamon,paella and sangria. Paella takes about an hour to make it so having some other dishes and drinks helps. Also, pan (bread) is charged for 1.75€ per person. For dessert, torrija is very good!

This restaurant helps retain a little of I classify as "classic Spain"It's dark wooden interior absorbs a lot of light, just like a tavern's ought to.
