This is the second time I've eaten here and both times I haven't been let down. Firstly, the service is typically greek, in that it is pleasant and jovial but often may seem slower than expected by American or British standards.But don't let that detract from the quality food on offer; each meal we've had has been beautifully cooked, supported with complimentary soups and bread, dessert and ouzo.Pricing is extremely reasonable for what is great food in a friendly atmosphere. I would certainly recommend trying this place if you fancy a Greek experience.
A nice friendly atmosphere. The menu is extensive. I have been several times and never had a bad meal. The owner is a "crazy" Greek guy. Very friendly and will always give you an ouzo at the end of the meal. He lived in London for some years so has a good English sense of humor. The plates are well filled -You will not go hungry and most people leave with a "to go box" Booking in advance is advisable. He does open some days for lunch but call first. I will certainly be back. He doesn't take cards so bring cash.
We went to Metaxa for the first time and loved it! All we ordered was delicious and the owner was so much fun, he treated us like old friends! We had a great dinner #97 record for two, look for the fireworks! and when we paid our bill, we got a shot of Ouzo... OPA! Then he decided that we would go too soon and have a leak from the kitchen, on the house, a dessert called Loukoumades, absolutely delicious!!! We will definitely again often and look forward to more wonderful Greek cuisine!
Dinner with friends today. I chose this Greek restaurant because of the good reviews here at Google. And I have to say what! To the appetizer there was a soup at the expense of the house and the boss drank with us an ouzo that also went into the house. Our main dish tasted Megalecker and was beautifully dressed. The service was very friendly and fleeting. Oh, yes, there was even a delicious dessert, even on the house. We're definitely coming back.

The food in general is good but the side dish of rice pilaf is way too salty and tastes packaged. Lamb chops and Greek food are the best choices
