Love Metro Carvery, food is always spot on. However only complaint I have is about the burgers, only had it once and the bun is horrible. Everything else is great, from the chicken to the wraps, chips, salads, moose it's all good!Service is always decent, friendly staff but sometimes meals can be slow but this place gets fairly busy. One thing that can be annoying is when you're waiting in line and next to be served the girl who's serving will often say "won't be long" and leave you standing there whilst they go make some food.. Frustrating when they leave you for 10 minutes when they were already serving, other than that this place is outstanding.
The roasted chicken at this restaurant is fantastic and they offer a wide variety of food options. The chips used to be perfectly crispy and salty, however, they have not been as good lately. The service is good, but not outstanding, and the lack of a ticket number or name being taken can be frustrating during busy times. The delicious chicken saves the experience, but with a little more effort, this place could become a top food destination on the Northern Gold Coast.
I believe that the standout feature of this carvery is its consistency. The pork and crackling are consistently amazing, cooked perfectly every time. The other meats they offer are also consistently delicious. The salads and chips are consistently good as well, always the same quality.
Been going to Metro chicken in Upper Coomera through several years now they used to be really good but after the day I won't be back the chips were oil soaked and more like they are cooked three times the chicken was dry tasteless must be new management

Very dissapointed an Asian girl who works there is rude never gets the orders right dosn't care what you request just done what she wants.. Owner is never there anymore.. No where near as good as it once was... Won't be going back..
It is actually quite good. Last Christmas I ordered a kilo of several different meats, and roast veges. Took it back to work and we had a traditional roast lunch at work. Good way to go and no fuss or bother.
The food is fabulous here but seriously, their hot chips are really really good. I love the Roast dinners so take away night for our family is easy as there is something for everyone here.
It's a carvery. The food is exactly what you expect it will be. Its pretty pricey but they're fast and we've never had an issue with good quality there. The chocolate mousse is delicious.

The food was excellent, but the service was slow. Two out of the three staff members seemed disinterested, but the server from the Big Island was fantastic.
The staff are really friendly and the food is amazing. You get value for money. The food is always fresh.
