Da wohnen wir jetzt seit über 15 Jahren gemeinsam in Aalen und haben erst gestern ein weiteres urig-gemütliches Gasthaus ganz in unserer Nähe entdeckt: den "Fuchsbau" direkt neben der renommierten Metzgerei Köder!Schon wenn man reinkommt, fühlt man sich in gute alte Zeiten versetzt - in einem anheimelnden Gastraum und einem Nebenzimmer ideal für Familienfeiern (wie uns dort gleich morgen eine bevorsteht - weshalb wir vorab schon mal dort waren). Der Service ist vorbildlich; Kellnerin und Chefin sind freundlich und haben sogar Humor.Da fühlt man sich fast wie zuhause - nur dass man nicht selbst kochen muss.Das heimische Bier schmeckt vortrefflich - wie auch das Essen: preiswerte Hausmannskost...
Restaurant not recommended at all. With three people at the Hoffest. Order: 2 flame cakes, two additional salads and a pigshaxe. Everything was ordered together. Side salads and flashcakes came very fast. Schweinzhaxe after almost 40 minutes after the additional aaldas. Two people have eaten completely and the third person has waited for food. A disaster. Conclusion Food: Flamecake very fade, bought floor. Pigshaxe (if she came) very satisfied.
Very cozy, nice staff. But: Don't eat meat! Badest onion roast ever!! Plates are served boiling hot (microwave?? The sauce already has skin. Everything, fast and cheap. Main problem: The battles themselves very bad meat
We got in by closing time. Unfortunately, the kitchen was already closed, but we still could order another salad, some fries and dessert. Very friendly service.

very good food, good quality ingredients, great recipes, always very hospitable. We always like to go.
Once again a perfect meal (Trommel and Anteak) with a super wine at fantastic fair prices. A real tip!
