My wife, sister in law, nephew and I had dinner at the Mewar Haveli, Radcliffe On Trent this evening, Wednesday 22 November 2023. The welcome was warm and friendly. The meals were outstandingly good. The decor and ambiance could not have been better. The service was first class. The servers were all dressed in national costumes and the whole experience was second to none. I cannot possibly overemphasise how enjoyable the whole experience was. Parking: Plenty of room and very conveniently situated just metres away from the restaurant entrance. Food excellent we had to wait for our table as there was a big Indian door on but we'll worth the wait . Really funny thing my children booked it for a belated birthday dinner for my 63rd all the staff came out in traditional clothing with drums and music and picked the wrong person in our group with a birthday cake !! Vicky only 57 they put a hat on her it was really good so we didn't mention it to them !! I ordered a meal from this restaurant and the only way to describe what they sent me was bizarre. Some things were fine, the popadoms, naan and fries were all okay but the actual Indian food dishes were awful. The biriyani was genuinely unpleasant and the curry that came with it tasted really odd and the onion bhajis were uncooked in the middle, like they’d been cooked from frozen but not for long enough. The side salad consisted of great slabs of carrot, cucumber and red onion. Not recommended

First time visiting here this week and I will definitely be going back. The food is delicious, the service from the staff was amazing, they make you feel very welcome and nothing is too much trouble.
