Mexico Taco Buffet

This little "hole in the wall" restaurant had fresh, amazingly flavourful food that was a joy to have. It is sooooo laid back, we just relaxed and ate to our belly's content. While the selection was limited, we really didn't notice as what was available was VERY good. At the price of $15 per person for dinner we are certainly pleased.We had to laugh because the hotel staff we talked to don't know about this place, and will now be going because of our recommendation :)

this is a pretty small place so I'd recommend a reservation if you're going in peak hours. It's a simple buffet so there's no menu but quite a few options and it's all delicious. You can make your own tacos or skip the taco and just have a plate of food. They keep the spice level down but you can add your own. They didn't have their liquor license when we went but said about 2 weeks. I will definitely be back

Wonderful Mexican home cooking. Two main meat dishes, soup, quite a few side dishes and fresh corn tortillas, garnishes, salsa and dessert. Genuine Mexican hospitality. Relaxing atmosphere where all ages would be comfortable, even great for date night . Food was fresh, tasty and a real treat. So nice to have genuine Mexican food instead of that fast food chain stuff. Would highly recommend.

The owner has such pride in the quality and authenticity of the food. He took my husband and myself to the buffet to teach us how to make a taco soup. And it was fabulous! Basic but delicious! Think this would be good for families as there is no waiting and each person can customize their meal to their likes and dislikes. Thought the price for lunch buffet was a little high but would return. Tastes were fresh and deliciously simple.

Probably my most favourite place to eat in all Red Deer. The exterior isn't much or inside but the Tortilla soup. Holy s&$t. Usually I'm too full for the actual buffet food. Great lunch or supper. Give it a try
