Das Restaurant Meyer‘s Treppchen liegt wirklich an einer Treppe direkt am Moritzberg/ Wohngebiet und die Parkmöglichkeiten sind daher sehr begrenzt. Es gibt es einen kleinen Biergarten und das Ambiente ist nett, aber schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Das Treppchen scheint Inhaber geführt (Küche und Bedienung). Der Service ist gut, die Auswahl an Speisen (regional und Saison) ist auch gut, aber alles in allem nicht herausragend. Wir hatten verschiedene Gerichte, die soweit in Ordnung waren.
in October 2014 we were there for the first time with friends for dinner.The local is very rustic. at the weekend this is always very full locally. but we had a table reserved. we ordered two dishes with change requests, which has been implemented without problems. eating was okai, but not for everyone. my friend was disappointed for the first time. the ordered espresso was charged by us. it was not more than just cooked coffee. a espresso can't be enjoyed there. Too bad.

I stumbled over this little jewel while I wandered through this pretty and historic quarter of helpdesheim. the greeting was warm, the beer cold and menu extensive. eating was mainly meat with half dozen veggie options. the mixed grill I had was really...good and very cheap at €14. overall the service was good and the experience was a joy. our party had 4 main thing including salat and lots of beer came to €70 plus a top of €10. I'll visit hildesheim next time.
reservation seems reasonable and absolutely necessary. reservation and reception were friendly without any complaint. the menu on the internet is no longer up-to-date and the prices are partly athletic. the foods were largely o.k. - after our taste partly somewhat clear. unfortunately we felt the calculation of something majo and red sauce at the price of an eur without hint .
this family restaurant may be difficult to find, but the effort is worth it. friendly, delicious with a wonderful collection of weinbrand and snaps. the service is smooth and competent. the kitchen serves freshly prepared local dishes, all in the house. whether two, with the family or, as we, with a group, we will pamper them until the next time.
the personal is very friendly, food projections are average, but suitable for the price they pay. the location is at the border of the city (can not say how far from the center). if they stay in the hotel (same building) it is right to have an evening meal. if they're going around, they might be lucky to find a better place. their choice;
