I got the chicken quesadillas con peppers and onions and the cheese they used was soooo good i wanna say feta and fresh mozzarella but im not sure it sounds like something so simple but it was soooo good and they dont use the cheap stuff the sour cream was the mexican kind not the american which i love and the pico de gallo was perfect !!! Less than a year ago we ordered a cake like every year for the birthdays of each member of the family and a cake that we bought in June came out bad because the milk was sour and the next day it was no longer useful and I threw it away and told the family. lady and said she would give a $10.00 refund for a cake that had cost over $60 Lol, but it's okay because I threw the cake out of anger and didn't bring it, today we ordered one and she told us she would give a discount and she didn't ? too The photo that was supposed to be on the cake costs an extra $15 and is not the entire page but rather a small piece of the page, very bad customer service.
I had the chicken flautas, and they were excellent. The chicken tamale was also outstanding. The birria tacos were delicious as well. However, the beef burrito was mostly filled with rice and very lacking in meat for the price. The salsas were amazing! If they could add a bit more protein to the burritos, that would be great, but overall, the food was very tasty and well-balanced. It had an authentic flavor that I really enjoyed.
This was my first time here , I ordered birra tacos and a steak quesadilla and was very disappointed the consume for the birra tacos was nasty and looks like some watered down chicken broth also the quesadilla only had like 3 pieces of steak in it , also the birra tacos don’t taste like BIRRA

Mi Lupita is a true gem, offering the best authentic Mexican cuisine in Waterbury. The prices are reasonable, and the portions are generous and delicious. Each dish is made fresh to order, and their bakery is exceptional. Give them a try—you won’t be disappointed!
I don’t know why I keep coming back here thinking it has or will get better (give them another chance) wait time it’s a nightmare, some time missing ingredients due to lack of communication between the front and back of the house.
I visited this restaurant for the first time today and ordered the lunch special, which included two chicken tacos served with rice and beans. It was absolutely fantastic, and I highly recommend giving this place a try!
Ordered some baked items and it was fresh and taste was amazing!!! Ordered chicken faultas with a side of rice and beans food is really good. I be back tomorrow for more conchas.
