I placed a lunch order and there was confusion about which macho burrito I ordered, so I ended up with the $27 Gordo Macho. I was only able to eat a quarter of it, so my family and I will be having it for dinner tonight. In the future, I would probably ask for the sauce on the side to make reheating easier. Although $27 is more than I usually spend on lunch, it's not a bad deal considering it also feeds us for dinner. The burrito was delicious, especially with chorizo and spinach tortilla. I inquired with the waitress about her favorite dish out of two options. She responded as if it was an inconvenience, which was disappointing. I am now waiting for my food, and depending on the quality, they may receive another star. The service ultimately impacts the overall dining experience. However, the food turned out to be quite delicious. It seems that there has been a shift change as my new waitress is excellent - friendly and welcoming, just as service should be.
Chile Verde is amazing. Make sure to ask for extra lime to help offset the spiciness of the green sauce. The service is for take-out, and it's great for lunch. The price per person ranges from $10 to $20. I would give the food a rating of 4 out of 5, the service a 4 out of 5, and the atmosphere a 3 out of 5. I highly recommend trying the Chile Verde dish.
