Small, strip mall setting with 9 tables inside and a couple more outside, the decorations pay homage to Miami, as well as Cuba, with street signs such as Hialeah, Ocean and SW 8th St, a clipping of snow in Miami back in 1977, and other Miami knickknacks, the place has a bright, almost tropical look to it. The slogan is A Little 305 in the 704. With a collection of mostly Cuban dishes, as well as Nicaraguan, they did just that. My wife and I tried several things off the menu. The mariquitas green plantain chips were an ok appetizer but the garlic cilantro dipping sauce had a nice flavor and bite to it. I have heard lots of good things about Miami Fusion Cafe. After Church, my wife and I have it a try. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Our waitress gave us some recommendations and she was very helpful describing the various dishes and favorites. We started with the Empanada appetizer?delicious! My wife had the Cuban Sandwich and I had the Cuban Chop Chop for our meals. Both were delicious. My wife said it was the best Cuban Sandwich she had ever had. The roasted pork and Mojo Sauce on my meal was delicious as well. Very flavorful and fresh. My wife finished with an iced coffee to go, and enjoyed it as well. Hands down, the best (authentic) Cuban restaurant in a 50-mile radius.I've tried them all, and this is like being back in Miami.The others around here are good, but are modern interpretations and/or southern hybrid versions.The palamillo steak is incredible; Perfectly cooked and seasoned, however, the rice is the star of the dish.The texture is fluffy, but moist (sorry, ladies...but it's the most appropriate word in this context) and delicious. I don't know what their secret ingredient is, but it's muy bien.The chicharron is the best I've had in 20+ years. SO good!Their pulled pork is also fantastic. It's tender and flavorful with the perfect amount of fat.
11/10 sandwiches wraps. We've lived near their Denver location for about 3 years always wanted to stop in.. we finally did it was love at first bite. Been there every day since highly recommend!! While visiting family in Denver, NC, I was treated to a meal at Miami Fusion. The restaurant was impeccably clean, the staff were friendly and very helpful. I ordered a Cuban club sandwich. The sandwich was packed and tasted delicious. I recommend that if you travel to Denver, NC that Miami Fusion be listed on your list of stops.
Food was incredibly delicious! Pork was perfectly cooked and so flavorful. Hands down the most incredible coffee I’ve ever had. Best of all, our server Lisa was so friendly and made the experience that much better. Highly recommend. I had the sweet cream latte and Cuban wrap. My mouth is still watering. Can’t wait to come back.
We went for the first time yesterday and I was blown away! The lechón was absolutely delicious! Being a born and raised Miamian, I know my Cuban food. So I had high expectations. Miami Fusion did not disappoint! Y?all will be seeing me again? and again ????. Oh, and the service was A+!!!
