I enjoyed the variety of different ingredients in this one. However, the dish was on the saltier side so I recommend enjoying it with a warm bowl of rice. On a chilly Friday evening, we were in the mood for some hot and spicy Chinese cuisine. We found ourselves at Miao Miao Xian in Rowland Heights. Upon arrival, we were welcomed by the charming logo of a cat—ah, so that's where the name comes from! The restaurant is quite spacious, and it boasts an extensive menu featuring a variety of seafood and meat dishes. Their mission is to serve fresh, healthy, and delicious food at reasonable prices, all within a clean and friendly atmosphere.
Let me start off by saying that I am someone who doesn't usually like szechuan Chinese food- BUT, I was blown away at how great the spice and tastes were! I had the roasted fish dragon gate style, chengdu spicy skewers, and the beef short ribs spicy griddle pot! The short ribs were my absolute favorite! I definitely recommend having a beer or two with these meals- best drinking food!
I ordered the Grilled Black Cod whole fish (5/5): it had an authentic grilled taste that reminded me of what I had in China. Thumbs up! The lamb skewers (small) were unique compared to other Chinese restaurants—they cut the lamb into smaller pieces, making each cube more flavorful. The cold pot skewers were phenomenal, especially the sauce.

I had to leave the restaurant shortly after sitting down. It was clear that someone had been smoking inside, and the staff (I assume) were singing karaoke loudly in another room on a Tuesday evening at 7 PM. It's no surprise we were the only customers there. They don't seem ready for business. Has there been a change in ownership?
ordered spicy beef is was too much over cooked ! Never ganna order from this place again, no one pay any attention on how the dishes come out . Too much over cooked beef! Really terrible !!!!!!
I normally to go to this place at least once a week. The food here is very delicious. It always comes out amazing. The place is very clean and the staff are super nice and friendly.
Absolutely perfect service! The prices are excellent, and there's a fantastic variety to choose from. I love this place!
