While strolling down Sydney Road, I couldn't resist the tempting smell of frying food coming from Michael's. This eatery offers a variety of good food that can be enjoyed inside or outside. I ordered the raisin toast and coffee deal for $5 which is a pretty good price. The raisin toast could have done with more butter and the coffee was ok. The location is in one of Coburgs old malls right near the Tatts place. It's a drafty thoroughfare and not the best atmosphere but ok I guess.
The majority of food at this restaurant is on display in a Bain Marie and either served as is or heated up slightly. Unfortunately, my grilled fish was disappointing, even though the portion was generous. However, the made-to-order sandwiches were a better option and offered great value.
