We just keep coming back to Michael's as the food is just so good. Tonight we had the calamari balls for starters. The star was the accompaniment which was diced chilli and capsicum bits with crispy noodles. It was salty, spicy and delicious.
For mains I had the Moreton Bay Bugs served in a creamy curry. The curry could have been improved. It was definitely creamy but it didn't have the spicy coconut cream taste I was expecting and was a little bland. I also shared some of the Ikan Lemak which was fantastic. A vegetarian fried rice was a great accompaniment.
My companions enjoyed their lemon chicken and sweet and sour chicken.

I have been to Michael's Oriental twice, first for my school semi formal in 2009 and just recently. I ordered the Lemon chicken & calamari balls to share with my partner and both meals were nice. The calamari balls were delicious and calamari wasn't chewy. The lemon chicken was zesty and flavoursome (we ordered a special fries rice on the side). I wouldn't mind coming back here again.
Michael's is my local Chinese takeout, I usually take away Mongolian lamb, chicken with cashews and friends rice and prawn crackers ( a massive bag for $5) lamb n chicken are both tender and full of flavours, the service is exceptional and it usually take 20 mins to get the meals ready, which works out well for us. I would highly recommend Michael's. I've never been disappointed.

We keep coming back to this place because the staff are great and the food is wonderful. This is our local asian restaurant where we have frequent take-aways. There's enough for dinner and then left overs for lunch so it's great value for money. Wide variety of asian styles on the menu. You won't be disappointed.
Wow! What a wonderful experience. We attended the Lunar/Chinese New Year celebration last night and it was fantastic. The food was superb, staff were attentive and excellent entertainment was provided. Would recommend Michael's Oriental for any function or just for a great meal.
I've been to Michael's Oriental on two occasions - and both times they were for wedding receptions. I enjoyed the multiple course meals, and the service was of a high standard. Good place for a more formal meal and good Chinese fare.
I was staying at the hotel next door, so thought this would be easy if I just got take away. Food was good without being anything special. The after effects weren't so great as I was up all night with an upset stomach.

Lovely food, reasonably priced, very friendly staff. Will definitely visit again. Very convenient motel next door so no worries about driving home.
This place is a lovely Chinese restaurant and they do a good lunch special. It is a very large venue great for big groups!
