Went to this small city for business and found (on Trip Advisor) this gem. I am Italian and I am quite scheptical in Italian cuisine abroad. I go for local cuisine irrespective. But, you know, I missed la cucina della mamma so I decided to...give it a go. Well, what a pleseant surprise: Domenico (the owner) and Nello (the weiter) were very kind and the food...a great experience. Trip Advisor feedback were right. Gentlemen pay a visit to this place, you will not regret. Place is cozy as well, suitable for business dinner or romantic moments. Domenico, compliments for your true passion in your job.
Good food, nice personnel and reasonable prices, what more can you ask for? Yes, they have an excellent wine list also! And a large collection (ca kinds of good grappa! Very nice terrace for dinner al fresco in summertime! I recommend Michelangelo!
I haven't tasted through all the menu, nor all their wines, but anything I chose was first class, and the prices seemed sensible. With nice atmosphere and a friendly landlord to add, Michelangelo is strongly recommended.
The taste is excellent, staff very friendly, we went there for lunch during working time with no enough time to taste some wine, but I will definitely go there again for dinner and am sure will not be dissapointed .

This is a must visit when in Mönchengladbach. Try the truffle pasta, it's amazing. Really nice friendly service. The price is very good for the standard. Could not really fault it.
Fud waz ok, table was too high, I am tall so I found it hard to jump on, gummy bears with coffee is a pure gourmet choice, I will remember it for the rest of my life. Booyakasha
The food was first-class and the wine was also top. Pleasant ambience and very friendly staff. The boss has a friendly word for every guest. Always happy.
