One of the male staff walked away with an attitude, while the females continued to act unfriendly and stay glued to their phones. They all need better training. I will never spend my money there again. I usually enjoy Mid Atlantic, but I would advise against visiting their Silver Hill Road location. The staff should be grateful to have jobs, and while on the clock, they should greet customers with a warm smile instead of complaining about their shifts.

About 4 months ago I ordered calamari from here and the calamari is fake. I have been working in Fine Dining for 30 years and this is no calamari I have ever seen.People if you see no legs when you get calamari that sometimes is a sign unless the legs have been taken out. Nor is calamari all the same size and perfectly round like they serve here.Also, please beware there is a lot of fake food out here like this calamari. It may be a fish or some sort of seafood that has been made and cut like calamari but what they serve here is not the Real calamari. This location I had a #26 order. Fish, 3 fried shrimp, crab cake, Mac/cheese, fried rice, corn bread. The crab cake they served was a flat pattie with scallions in it, a lot of salt, and a taste I never would describe as a crab cake. The rest of the meal was ok/average. They have a large hot bar that had a lot of options. This meal cost me 27 and change and left me disappointed. The young man who put my order in the container was wearing nitrile gloves but was eating food with the gloves on prior. Everyone was nice I interacted with. The atmosphere of the place was old, and rundown. Being I was passing through the area I know I won't be back. I didn't think to take photos.
I ordered dinner using Uber eats. I ordered grilled whiting (fish), red potatoes, string beans and cornbread! The delivery came fifteen minutes later than described. The food was piping hot! The string beans tasted like unseasoned canned beans. The potatoes snd cornbread were delicious. The grilled whiting was good but I kinda noticed a fishier smell than normal, sort a like the smell that I do not like similar to catfish. But I was hungry so the meal was tasty overall. The portion was large enough to have leftovers two times! This is not my go-to place. It was close by! Oh the lemon pie (slice) was great and the price was just right for the total dinner order!

If you are in search of a place that serves straight up grease on a plate then this is the destination! The food was drowning in grease and was very distasteful. The inside of the restaurant truly needs some TLC, and the location simply is not ideal for any type of good business.
Normally the food is good but not today and we normally eat at home. The food was so nasty, old tasting, f uped. Never ever the f again. Trash, trash and more might be time for our money to go somewhere else. Bye mid
