Mid Peninsula Seafood Market

Love the ambiance here! The gentleman singing live music really set the feels in motion! Sultry love songs from my past floated the the air sparking nostalgia all around...but we came here for food didn't we? The food was not as expected. I fear the oysters were burnt as the flavor told the tale. We were excited to try the catfish but were told they didn't not have any that day so we ordered flounder and shrimp. The shrimp was good and the flounder ok. Maybe there was a better time to visit?

Coming here forever. It has gone downhill, nowhere near the same. Last two times we ate there, very disappointed. Our fried dishes were dark brown, you can taste it was old oil. The last time we went all we did was look around and we left. The place was very dirty and the employees did not look very clean. The food that was coming out look bad. We left and I'm so sorry that I've lost one of my favorite places.

So good! We got 2 shrimp dinners 6 fried 6 scampi with rice, broccoli, steak fries hush puppies. Delicious! It was busy when we got there but we had called our order in it was ready right when they said it would be. Everything was hot, fresh exactly what we wanted. We will definitely be back!

I absolutely love this place. The Seafood is always cooked just right and is fresh and hot! This is a small independent restaurant and these are my favorites to dine at. Come out and support your local business. They also have a seafood market.

This hidden gem serves some of the best fried seafood I’ve ever had. The staff is genuinely friendly and were very helpful as well.
