The restaurant could benefit from a more professional approach. I recently attended a cocktail-style wedding reception here and found the food to be very good, especially the unique duck spring rolls. However, the service was not up to par. It seemed more erratic than poor. The waitstaff, who my children unkindly referred to as "child waiters," were clearly inexperienced. It was disappointing to see that only a portion of the guests received their food, while others had to ask multiple times. We thought we'd have lunch and a tasting at middlebrook just because it was there at the right time. Oh if i could turn back time (insert cher here). The grounds and builing are beautiful but that's all folks. We walked in and the manager told us it would be half an hour wait minimum for food but we were ok with that. She really did not want us there because she was so full, I'm not kidding there was two tables of about 5 or 6 people and us two. We should've heed the warning. The place is really nice, professional Lady/Owner was helpful , I know their wines are good though my guests did not purchase any, the restaurant is a nice day experience , no too loud yet a bit too quiet and needs some restaurant style music either louder or in the correct places, this will make you feel like your not the centre of attention, gardens are great and keep in mind this is a family owned business that have worked very hard, I know this from one of their cousins. Nice for a romantic dinner and a mature place, that for me is perfect, wine is good and fire place is warm.
I had a very enjoyable lunch at this restaurant. The service was friendly and efficient, with helpful waiting staff. The food was excellent, especially the duck rillette and beef rib eye. However, the bread was disappointing as it appeared to be stale.

My partner and i went for lunch on Sunday it's a beautiful setting among the grape vines We had a table by the window with beautiful views.The food was magnificent the service was just as good.Well done we are so looking forward to going again
I highly recommend this restaurant for Sunday lunch. The food was fantastic and paired well with the wine selection. The staff were wonderful and it's a perfect place to spend a Sunday afternoon. We will definitely be returning.
Was there for a Lions Handover Dinner. Meals, staff and Venue were excellent but they were slow in bringing out the food for 100 guests. Catered for dietary needs.
No clear pricing and no service make really hard to make a purchase of their premium priced vegetarian goods.
