Filled the online form to request a table, as it stated on website. No reply, so rang. A gruff female answered and mumbled we are fully booked. We are local so popped in on off-chance for a bar table. Ordered at the bar, the young lad that served me was very polite. Had a 30% off voucher, paid £30 for 2 mains and a pint and soft drink. Food arrived in 20 mins. No salt and pepper on tables, waited for cutlery and condiments. Burger was black, but surprisingly tasted good. Fries rock hard and cold. Fish abd chips ok. The 2 female staff I encountered were miserable, rude and unhelpful. Such a shame, we have tried this pub on number of occasions, as we have lived on estate 13 years....so want a...

We came here to celebrate a family birthday and wow! Plenty of parking outside and Inside is a beautiful barn conversion, warm and inviting. We were greeted at the door with a friendly smile and taken to our table. Our food that we ordered was served in a reasonable time considering how busy it seemed and must say was absolutely delicious! Hot and tasty : Desserts were great too and I would highly recommend the sundae! Everywhere is costly these days to eat out and considering this we found the price was reasonable, especially considering how lovely the whole experience was. Thank you to all the staff, we will definitely be back and highly recommend anyone to go and see themselves.

My first visit after refurbishment. The car park had plenty of cars, always a good sign, and the new decor was modern and welcoming. Inside there was a lovely buzz about the place, plenty of space and a decent menu. On ordering at the bar, I was warned there was a party of about 40 being catered for. They had no impact on my visit as my food came in good time and the bread which came with the soup was divine and worth going back for. I was able to get my work done and this is very much on my I 'll be back list of places to eat.

The lunch menu was disappointing for vegetarians. Only one choice of main which was a salad. Not everyone wants salad for their main course. I ordered the breaded mushrooms instead which were OK but served piled up in a small bowl standing on a piece of wood! This made it almost impossible to eat as they kept falling off onto the table. WHAT IS WRONG WITH A PLATE? Please think about the person trying to eat the food instead of trying to be trendy with wooden blocks which are totally useless! The service was also very slow . Booked for 13.00, meal finally arrived one hour 10 minutes later after chasing how long it would be. Now 15.15 and our plates have not been cleared and we have not had anyone to ask if we wanted anymore drinks or like deserts. An apology would be quite nice, food was good when it did arrive what a shame

Fantastic lunch offer. 3 courses for 17.25. Bruschetta was fresh and tasty to start then for main the chicken tenders were beautiful! To finish crumble with custard. All served hot and with a smile. Look forward to coming back on an evening with the family.

Visited for dinner last night with a friend. Ordered a mixed grill but meat came out cold and steak looked like it was chewed up.
