We're locals here on the Keys, and the Midway Cafe is essentially a local institution. Wonderful freshly prepared food, great service, kitschy atmosphere, a nice mix of locals and tourists. Incredibly reasonable prices for the Keys. Whether you're staying in Islamorada or on your drive down to Key West stop here for a quick good breakfast or lunch. Tip: On the first Sunday of every month from 9 to 11 a.m. a local group of ukulele players perform live music in the outdoor dining area. Lots of smiles.
We stopped here twice during our four day trip to Islamorada it was so good. The line gets very long, but moves quickly and is worth the wait. It you want something quick everything we tried in the display case was good, but I would highly recommend the breakfast sandwiches. They are unique and delicious! The specialty drinks, coffees, etc. are also amazing. This is a great local spot to check out. They close at 2pm so make sure to arrive before then!
When traveling thru the Keys there is one stop you must make to relax and enjoy! The Midway Café is the halfway pit stop! Even better make Islamorada your destination and you can enjoy the Midway Café every day! Whether out for a daily run/jog/walk or riding your bike the place for a break is Midway Café! Great coffee, breakfast, or lunch! And if you want a small memento of the Keys, they have it there!
Most of the food is excellent. Parking: There’s a large parking lot available, as well as extra spaces in the back. Kid-friendliness: Kids are always welcome here. Wheelchair accessibility: I noticed wheelchairs being used during my visit, and there’s plenty of space to accommodate them. Service: Dine-in experience. Meal type: Dinner. Price per person: $10–20.

Nice pit stop on the way to Miami very colourful first cappuccino after three days of American coffee only . Friendly stuff . Like the ambiance and the colour coordination
Stopped for breakfast and sure were glad we did. The food was great. Served hot and fresh. Don't let the parking lot scare you away, it moves quick and is well worth it

Great burgers. A list of desserts a mile long. Tried the Texas Sheet-cake and it was on point. I hear the catfish is fresh, so I can’t wait to go back and try it.
The staff was very friendly and everything we ordered was delicious. I do recommend getting there early, because it gets crowded quickly.
