Mike Emma's Sandwich Shop

I have been going to Mike Emma's since I was a young boy. I am now 64 and still have not found one competitor that creates any sandwich even remotely close to theirs. The WHOLE family is more then WONDERFUL. I moved to Delaware 20 years ago but come back to visit my daughter, often. I had the opportunity to visit Mike Emma's 3 days ago, said my HEARTY hello's and left with several sandwiches

This place is special. Every sandwich is hand crafted to order. Impeccably clean restaurant, fair prices, quick service and good people. The cheesesteak was well seasoned, had the right amount of cheese and onion and the roll was great. At the top of my steak list.

Very nice people, but it is time to let the next generation take over the daily operation of the sandwich shop. Steady current of regulars. Parking, tables, nice people and a bathroom, but it's time for junior (I think he worked the grill) to take over.

If you want a good Italian Hoagie, this is the place. Great imported meat cut perfectly. Use excellent quality olive oil and long hot. Try it out for years! Fantastic real Italian sandwiches!
