Great service it looked like there was only one staff member on site but she was so efficient and friendly. Our order was perfect we got four freshly made sandwiches (Egg and bacon, Italian job). We wanted to enjoy our cookie so we said we'd come back inside to grab the sandwiches, but she came outside to deliver the sandwiches when she was done! The egg and bacon sandwiches were excellent!! Definitely worth the value. The Italian Job was ok but was not as tasty as the egg and bacon. Highly recommended for service, almond cookie, and freshly made egg and bacon sandwich.
Despite the option of coffee with a higher milk to espresso ratio, I really enjoyed the coffee at this restaurant. The flavors were less acidic and more towards the bitter end of the spectrum, but not unpleasantly so. I particularly liked the cortado I had here. The baristas are also very talented, it's rare to find a place with consistently good milk art. I'm not sure if all of their baristas can do latte art or if we just lucked out, but I will definitely be returning to find out.
The YYC hot chocolate drink was really great!We arrived midday on a weekday. The place was totally empty. Staff member seemed kind of annoyed we came in. Not friendly, barley spoke to us.I mean I get it, I used to work in a busy grocery store. Who knows, maybe there was a jerk customer in before us that threw the staff's vibes off. Not sure what happened to bother the staffer. Not really interested in trying the establishment again ?
We feel in love with Milano coffee at this location. Then we moved to Victoria and it’s still part of our daily life. Just back in Calgary for a few days and it is so nice to come back this location. Still the best coffee in Calgary and the best baristas! Your team is always so friendly and helpful. The master reserve espresso yesterday and today was fabulous. We are going to order some when we get back. Thanks for all your hard work.
The outdoor patio at this restaurant is great, complete with a fireplace. The staff is incredibly friendly and I appreciate the mid-day caffeine boost with options like Pour Over, Americano, or Shot in the Dark. I particularly enjoy the Bourbon Medium Roast coffee and their delicious croissants. Thank you for a wonderful experience!
I like that there's the option to choose various featured espresso (some might cost +0.50). My personal favourites here are the Turkcicle and Stove top as they have the right sweetness level and don't overpower the espresso.Overall pretty cozy cafe with a cool patio outdoor seating space. Staff are consistently friendly.
