We were on site at a Gite in St Cadou, a 15-minute drive away. We have eaten here three times in a two-week period and every time was as good as the last. Excellent, food and service. We have eaten the Breton Salade, bound from potatoes, lardons, onions and garlic in a Bechamel sauce, some crepes, trout with almonds, Croque Madame and Entrecote Steak. All were excellent as the white wine. Plenty of space to park outside where there is a pedalo pond and fishing lake. A large mill wheel is attached to the side of the restaurant which is driven by the water flowing into the lakes where there is a living herd. You accept dogs voluntarily. After a nice walk in Huelgoat we found this place when we went back to Landerneau. The place was quite empty when we arrived to get up as we ate. The crepes were good to have and try Andouille for the first time, and when we were hungry, we followed this with another, but this time a normal of cheese, ham and egg. The crepes were washed with a beautiful bottle of local apple wine. The service was good and fast, but I think this could have been easy that no one else would be there.
We arrive at 3 o'clock for lunch. Crêpes, let's go! Good choice of pancakes. with the guerrillas, with the bacon....choice of the dough for the cakes. Black or wheat. Perfect! beer from the abbey in pressure and very cheap. Sweet pancakes are good as well. The service is fast. the framework is certainly a bit old. but the outside is nice and peaceful. No, really, if you're looking for a pancake break in a quiet place, go ahead!
the frame is very beautiful, you can walk around the lake or make pedalo there. The decor of the crêperie is old, there must have been let-go. the reception is very cold, no friendliness! a nice place where, with some friends, we took advantage of the beautiful weather to settle outside near the pond - quiet and far from the hustle of traditional tourist areas - and took our time to take a pot, one of us having been able to order two pancakes in the middle of the afternoon, which were served it quickly.
