Booked as a Mothers Day celebration because there were no bookings available at the weekend. Had told my Mother that it was excellent, my favourite restaurant, the best place for miles for fillet steak etc etc. She was really looking forward to it. However, the...meal arrived on a cool plate, the chips were lukewarm, as was the steak and the onion loaf was cold. It was 6pm and the place was practically deserted with only 2 other people awaiting their meal. We sent both meals back and they returned at exactly the same temperature, except that the chips were now hot. I dined at Miller and Carter, Crewe with my friend on 28th Feb following her final day as my colleague before moving to pastures new. What an absolutely fabulous meal! We both had starters. I had the salted and chilli squid and it was cooked...to perfection. The dip was a little garlicky, but I love garlic shall was good. My friend was equally appreciative of her starter. The main course was fabulous.... the steaks were cooked to perfection. I had the fillit and my friend had the ribeye. The sauces, sides and salad were equally as good. Came for Mother's Day, absolutely outstanding food and service. Our Waiter David was so helpful nothing was too much trouble for him, he was very friendly towards my son and spoke to him respectfully. My Son had the Chipotle Chicken Skewers to start and he...said they were very nice, my Dad had the Creamed Mushrooms which he said were nice. My Mum and I had the Scallops which we've had before and again were just amazing. My Parents and Son had the Fillet Steak for their mains and I had the Surf and Turf, first time for me trying fresh Lobster and I will most definitely have again. went to miller carter and had the metzgerblock. that was amazing! we couldn't blame anything about our experience. all staff were very friendly, but our waitress, luiza was fantastic. extremely knowledgeable about eating. was happy to answer our questions. served us with a smile and gave us the feeling as if we were masters instead of visiting our first. the food was served very quickly, was hot. the eating was phenomenal! the best steaks, ever! can't wait to go back. many thanks for a nice culinary experience. can not recommend enough!

first visit and last time. total experience was very disappointing for me. the service was good and the steak itself was very nice, but the starter was terrible. we ordered the garnish and crab cocktail, there was no sossing with it and the crab definitiw came from a dose that garnels were not fresh but defroze and served on salat, which was over the best part of the starter, although there were sticks of it. the pommes were barely overcooked, and it was overcooked.
I went here last night as a mothers day treat off my daughter, also my grandson and husband and it was just amazing from start to finish the food was to die for and our waiter who"s name David couldn't do enough for us he...was attentive and well mannered he spoke to my grandson who is only 12 like a person and not through his mum. I can recommend Miller and Carter 100 per cent and I cant wait for our next visit.
I visited this last week twice in a week. both of us had a nice waitress called Hannah. she made sure that we were seen from the second we set ourselves up to the second we left. she was very attentive and had a quick service....Can't be healed, the place or the food owe. will eat here definitiw again.
excellent eating with excellent service from our waitress, close. we have booked our selection of meal times to speed up the dinge and near had a recording of our orders and our sitting position that made the bill payments much easier!
